To add an allowed upgrade or downgrade for a service plan:
- Open Products > Service Plans. Click the service plan for which you want to add an upgrade or downgrade option.
- Switch to the Upgrades tab. The currently allowed upgrade/downgrade options are listed on the screen.
- Click Add New Allowed Upgrade/Downgrade. Select the service plans to which you want to allow your customers to upgrade or downgrade from the service plan that you chose in the first step. Click Add Selected Plan(s).
Important: Before configuring possible upgrade/downgrade options, check the service gates through which the involved service plans are provisioned. Make sure that if the source service plan is provisioned through PEMGATE, the target service plan is not provisioned through DUMMYGATE. Do not configure allowed upgrades/downgrades of service plans that involve switching PEMGATE to DUMMYGATE. Such a switching of provisioning gates is not allowed. Also note that downgrades are not supported for resources of the 'license' type. To downgrade a license, the license must be terminated and then another respective license must be ordered.
