The interaction with CloudBlue Commerce Key Administrator server is provided by KAGATE service gate. Normally, the needed service gates are added and configured either on Billing installation or later, on a special request. If KAGATE service gate is absent in your installation, please contact your vendor.
Licenses are provisioned through KAGATE service gate. However, licenses are sold as resources via hosting service gates. Service gates compatible with such type of resources, as licenses, are:
- PEMGATE,
- DUMMYGATE.
To bring licenses into Operations or Dummy service gate resources, it is necessary to adjust these gates settings and add the KAGATE service gate as a supplementary one.
Note: licenses are provided automatically via the supplementary KAGATE.
To add the KAGATE service gate as supplementary gate:
- Open System > Settings > Service Gates. The list of service gates currently available in your Billing installation appears on the screen.
- Select DUMMYGATE or PEMGATE by clicking on the respective link in the ID or in the Service Name column. Selected service gate properties appear on the screen.
- Switch to the Supplementary Gates tab.
- Click Add New Supplementary Gate. The add supplementary gate form is displayed.
- Click
next to the Supplementary Gate field. From the window that opens, select the KAGATE. - Click Save to confirm changes.
