Licenses sales and provisioning scheme is described in this chapter.
Licensing is managed through licensing server, CloudBlue Commerce Key Administrator. Billing uses special plug-in and service gate to establish connection to CloudBlue Commerce Key Administrator server.
Generally, the licenses management comprises in managing the following aspects:
- Licenses. Real licenses are managed here.
- License Classes. The information about all license classes (licensed products) is stored here, including parent licenses, and their additional features.
- Plug-ins. Tools used to establish connection to CloudBlue Commerce Key Administrator server. A number of configurations can be added on the basis of CloudBlue Commerce Key Administrator plug-in template. CloudBlue Commerce Key Administrator plug-in template multiple configuration functionality is provided for testing purposes.
