Managing Subscription Notification

Subscription notifications are primarily used in the following cases:

  • To notify customers about subscription expiration so that they can renew the subscription in time.
  • Notification schedule can include several reminders if for some reason customer did not renew his subscription after the first notification.
  • Sending welcome e-mails on successful service creation.
  • Sending messages of subscription auto-renewal state (auto renewal is on/off).

Note: welcome email for subscriptions based on DUMMY service are to be set manually. Notification templates for all related events including service creation are assigned manually per service template. This can be done during service template creation or later. To set up welcome email for dummy service plan, go to Products > Service Plans, and on the Service Templates tab, select the service template the dummy service plan is based on, within a service template settings select the General tab. Click Edit. Click [...] next to the Service Creation field, from the window that opens select notification template. This will set up welcome email. Other requests correspond to other events related to services provisioning and subscription life cycle. If needed, you can set up email notifications for these events as well.
