Resolving Synchronization Conflicts

If you use several source Active Directories for syncing them with the CloudBlue Commerce AD, conflicts may occur. A syncing conflict is a situation when different AD objects have the same properties that should be unique. For example, a user's login name or email address.

After a synchronization session is finished, you can view a full list of objects including those that failed to synchronize.

  1. Go to More Services > Directory Synchronization > Synchronized Objects. The page shows a list of objects that passed the synchronization and the objects that could not be synchronized.
  2. Use checkboxes to set the conflict resolution policies for individual objects. The following options are available:
    • Don't synchronize. The conflicting object will not be synced within the CloudBlue Commerce AD, and the session will be regarded as successful.
    • Resume synchronization. The user will have the Running, will re-sync status. During the next synchronization session, all user properties will be re-synced again.

Select the checkboxes against the necessary objects and click the corresponding button to apply individual policies.
