Upgrading/Downgrading Subscription
A subscription services package and terms may be changed on a certain conditions . Such changes are called upgrade or downgrade. Both subscription upgrade and downgrade are subdivided into three types:
- Changing subscription service plan. Allows switching from your original service plan to one of allowed for the subscription. These can be alike service plans with different resources' quotas and fees. When you change your service plan to a more expensive one, upgrade order is created. Order amount is the margin between old and new service plans price. When you change your service plan to a cheaper one, your account is credited by the margin amount and downgrade order is created.
- Changing subscription period. Allows you to prolong or shorten subscription period remaining in the context of the same service plan. When you change the subscription period to a longer one, upgrade order is created. Order amount is a margin between old and new subscription period fees. When you switch your subscription period to a shorter one, your account is credited by the margin between old and new subscription period fees and downgrade order is created.
- Upgrading/downgrading subscription resources. Allows you to increase or decrease the amount of resources within your subscription as well as to purchase additional ones. This type of upgrade is up to subscription's service plan resource quotas. You can upgrade subscription resources up to service plan upper limits and downgrade up to service plan lower limits.
