Your mailbox can be a member of a distribution list. Distribution list is a group of exchange objects that can be used to send a message to all members of the group. When an object is a member of a distribution list, it receives all the messages addressed to that distribution list.
You can see the distribution lists your mailbox is a member of at Exchange Mailbox > Membership.
