Marking Online Store as a Template for Reseller
Marking an online store as a template by Provider is required for successful completion of Reseller Initialization Wizard by a reseller.
At least one online store should be marked as "Template" on Provider's side in order his or her Reseller would be able to complete the Reseller Initialization Wizard.
Clicking the Set Template button sets the Template parameter for an online store to Yes. If the Template parameter is set to Yes for an online store in Provider's panel, then his or her reseller can use this store as a template for his or her own online store. In other words, the Reseller will start with an online store that copies the whole configuration (layout, skin, purchase scenarios, store screens configuration) of Provider's store.
The same logic applies to cases where an L1 Reseller wants to allow L2 Reseller to use his or her online store as a template (also L2 -> L3, etc).
In Reseller Control Panel, the Template parameter is disabled for online store by default. So, L1 Resellers should enable this parameter manually in their panels in case they want their resellers (L2) to be able to pass the Reseller Initialization Wizard.
To mark an online store as a template:
- Log in to CloudBlue Commerce provider control panel. Go to Billing > Products > Online Store. The list of online stores appears on the screen.
- Select the online store you want to make a template online store for resellers by clicking on the respective link in the Store Name or in the Description column. Selected store properties appear on the screen.
-
Click the Set Template button. The Template parameter gets set to Yes.
Note: In the system there can be multiple online stores marked as templates at a time.
To remove the "Template" mark for an online store, click the Unset Template button in the properties of that store.
