Managing Brand Interface Settings

You can specify how the CloudBlue Commerce interface will be displayed for those who enter your brand access point. To manage brand interface settings, do the following:

  1. Go to System > Settings > Brands in the Branding group.
  2. In the displayed list of registered brands, click the name of the brand you want to configure.
  3. Switch to the Interface Settings tab.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Specify the following parameters:

    • Login screen language: Select the language in which the Login screen inscriptions will be displayed to all the visitors.
    • Allow to select language: Select one of the following items:

      • Use stored language for user: The interface language will correspond to the current localization.
      • Use the same language as login screen: The interface language will be the same as the log-in screen language.
      • User can select language on login screen: Users will be able to select the language from the drop-down list on the log-in screen.
    • Check the languages you wish to be available for users to select. The Default option is the currently stored language.
    • In the Errors area, select the mode in which errors will be displayed on the RCP and the CCP.

      • Standard (no details, no reports): Only error descriptions will be displayed.
      • Show error ID and store error report: Error ID generated numbers will be displayed to users, error reports will be stored in the system (in the following directory of the CloudBlue Commerce UI server: /var/log/poa-ui.log).
      • Show error details: Error details will be displayed. Error details include a caption, description, code and internal data that will help the support team to find and solve the problem.
      • Store error report and show error details: Error reports will be saved in the system, and error details will be displayed.
    • Customer CP display format: Specify in which units the file size will be displayed. You can select Smart (the system displays the size according to the nearest format value – KB, MB, GB), or you can force all units to be displayed in one format.
    • Rounding mode: Specify how the file size values will be rounded in the system:

      • Round: The system will round the file size values to the nearest whole number.
      • Round Up: The system will round the file size values to the greater number.
      • Round Down: The system will round the file size values to the lesser number.
    • Precision: Select the precision limit for format values.
    • Default addresses layout: Specify how addresses of accounts will be displayed in the CloudBlue Commerce control panel. Of the two fields, the right field has the address layout items listed in the order they are presented in the CloudBlue Commerce control panel. You can change this order by using the Up and Down buttons.

      If you want an item to not be displayed in the CloudBlue Commerce control panel, select this item and click <<. The item will move into the left field. To make the item visible again, click >>.

      Select one of the following options in the Address layout to use field:

      • Layouts defined for locales: Select this option if you want the default address layout to be used only for locales for which no unique address layouts are specified.
      • Always use default address layout: Select this option if you want the default address layout to be used in all the cases, for all locales. All locale-specific address layouts will be ignored.
    • Number of digits in Area Code: Limit the number of area code digits (from three to five) the users can enter during registration.
    • Default time zone: Select the system default time zone.
    • Default date format: Select the default date representation format for the system:

      • Short
      • Medium
      • Long

      The date format you select will be used throughout the whole system. For example, date entry fields will use the date format you selected.

    • Enable staff members to use regional settings: Enable or disable the ability of a user to change an account's date format and the time zone if their local time differs from the default system one.
    • Show restore password link on login screen: Click if you want the Restore password link to be available on the Login screen.
  6. Click Submit to save the new interface settings.
