CloudBlue Commerce is a complex and multi-server system that consists of several Linux- and Windows-based hosts. Every host plays a pre-defined role in CloudBlue Commerce that depends on the installed services. The management node and UI server nodes are the "heart" of CloudBlue Commerce, since they store the system state and provide access to CloudBlue Commerce control panels. Service nodes provide the services to CloudBlue Commerce end users and store the end user's data. It is vital for the provider's business to have an up-to-date backup of the whole CloudBlue Commerce system and a reliable way to recover CloudBlue Commerce from that backup.
