Introduction
CloudBlue Commerce functionality can be extended with additional applications based on micro-service architecture.
Order Management is a microservice that enables order management in CloudBlue Commerce.
Order Management has its own release cycle and is not included in the CloudBlue Commerce distribution.
Important: Because Order Management enables public order management API, Order Management is required for the functioning of several CloudBlue Commerce extensions:
• UX1UI
• UX1 Marketplace
• Approval Workflow Engine
• PSA Integration
Business Purpose
Order Management:
- Provides the order correction functionality for CloudBlue Commerce.
- Enables order management related functionality of the UX1 UI microservice.
- Enables UX1 for Resellers and UX1 for Customers to display unpaid orders on the home tile.
- Ensures the availability and enhances the order management REST API with the more detailed order representation, extended filtering capabilities, and other features.
Without Order Management:
- You cannot make order corrections in CloudBlue Commerce.
- The home tile of UX1 for Resellers and UX1 for Customers will not display unpaid orders; only the available balance is displayed.
- The order management REST API is unavailable.
