Managing VPS Hardware Node
Configuring VPS hosting begins with preparing hardware environment where VPSs will be provisioned. It presumes that you have a dedicated physical server with Virtuozzo containers software installed in it. Such servers are called VPS hardware nodes (or VPS HN), since they represent hardware units within a network.
In CloudBlue Commerce control panel, VPS hardware nodes are listed in:
- Services > Cloud Infrastructure > VPS Hardware Nodes link in the Virtuozzo group.
- Infrastructure > Service Nodes. Here, hardware nodes and VPS hardware nodes are listed in one table. To determine the host type, consult the Platform column. Depending on the host type, the column contains the following information:

i386 RHES-3
' or 'Windows 2003
'); - For VPS hardware nodes – Virtuozzo version.
- For hardware nodes – an operating system (for example, '
From both of these lists, you can start managing a VPS hardware node after clicking its name.
