Product Modeler is a tool with flexible capabilities to create and manage base data of a product without price management. It enables you to manipulate both the entire catalog structure and each offer individually at the same time, by creating and updating service plans and resource rates.
The tool works in two modes (First Time Configuration or Edit Configuration) and automatically launches in the appropriate one. If there are service templates that meet both of the following requirements, the wizard is launched in Edit Configuration mode:
- Each service template must belong to an account ID listed in the Comma-separated list of resellers for InitWizard system property.
- Each service template must have a resource type of the Application Reference class for an application.
Otherwise, First Time Configuration mode is launched.
