Step 4. Service Templates

Here is a list of service templates that only displays templates with application resources included. You can add both existing and new resource types to these templates.

Important:
1. Defined resource limits are applied to the provider's service templates if only the provider's service templates were selected.
2. Defined resource limits are applied only to the resellers' service templates if the resellers' service templates were selected with the provider's. Unlimited is applied to the provider's service templates.

You can add resource types in service templates of different level resellers separately.

To add a new resource type to service templates, complete the following:

  1. Click New Application Resource Type.
  2. Define a name for a new resource type, its description, and the resource class it will be based on.
    • Counter: The resource type will be based on the Application Counter resource class. For this type of resource, select the respective resource of the APS application from the list.
    • Service: The resource type will be based on the Application Service resource class. For this type of resource, select the respective service of the APS application from the list.

    Configure additional parameters:

    • Automatic Service Provisioning: On for automatic provisioning, Off for no automatic provisioning.
  3. When ready, click Add. The resource type will be displayed in the list of resources.
  4. Define limits for the newly created resource type.
  5. Select service templates in which the new resource type or types will be included. Note that the list includes service templates of resellers of different levels; this allows you to easily add the new resource type to your subordinate resellers' service templates.

To add existing resource types, click Existing Application Resource Type, select the required resource types and click Add. Then define their limits and the service templates to which these resources will be included.
