Adding FTP User

To add a new FTP user, perform these steps:

1. Go to Websites, then click on a required domain name. Domain dashboard opens. Click FTP Access.
2. Go to the Users tab.
3. Click on the Add New User button.
4. In the FTP Login Name field, specify the new user's login name.

   The login name for the new FTP user consists of the hardcoded prefix generated by CloudBlue Commerce and the custom part entered by you.

5. Specify the new FTP Password. Type the password in the Password field. The password strength indicator will prompt you how strong is your password. If you want the system to generate a strong password, click Generate and remember the displayed password.
6. In the Entry point area of the screen, choose the directory accessible for the user in your Webspace. The available options are:
   • The DocumentRoot directory (the WebSite document root option)
   • The SSL DocumentRoot directory (the SSL WebSite document root option)
   • The CGI directory (the WebSite CGI Directory option)
7. If necessary, restrict the user's access within the selected directory by specifying a relative path in the Path field.
