Configuring Mailbox Limits

In order to distribute the disk space assigned for the mailboxes in your subscription, you can set up quotas for the size of the mailbox and incoming and outgoing letters.

To define these limits, perform the following actions:

  1. Open the Mailboxes screen.
  2. Click the Display name of the required mailbox.
  3. Open the Limits tab. At this screen you can see the current default limits defined by the provider.
  4. Click Edit to change these limits. On the displayed page enter the desired values of limits in the corresponding fields.
    • Issue warning at – The storage size that the mailbox can occupy before a warning message is sent to the mailbox owner.
    • Prohibit send at – The storage size that the mailbox can occupy before the system prevents the mailbox owner from sending more messages.
    • Size limit – The maximum storage size set for the mailbox (editable within the Maximum allowed mailbox size value displayed in the hint below the field).
    • Maximum incoming item size – The maximum size of incoming message allowed (editable within the value displayed in the hint below the field).
    • Maximum outgoing item size – The maximum size of outgoing message allowed (editable within the value displayed in the hint below the field).
    • Maximum number of recipients – The maximum number of recipients the mailbox owner can send a message to (editable within the value displayed in the hint below the field).
    • Keep deleted items for – The period during which deleted messages are kept (editable within the value displayed in the hint below the field).

  5. Click Submit to save the new values.

Note: Changes in mailbox limits may become effective during two hours.
