If you want to cancel the cron job task without deleting the cron job, you need to perform the deactivation. To deactivate one or more cron jobs, follow these steps:
- On the Cron Tabs tab, select the active cron jobs you want to deactivate, by clicking the corresponding check boxes.
Note: The state of a cron job is displayed in the State column.
Click on the Deactivate button. The message box appears to ask you:
Do you really want to deactivate 1 task(s)?
- Click OK to confirm your intention to deactivate the selected tasks.
As a result, the state of the selected cron jobs turns to Inactive, as you can see in the cron jobs list.
