Working with Domains Hosted in Plesk

Main operations with domains hosted on Plesk are performed from the All Domains screen, which is common for all domains created under all your subscriptions. To manage your domains, select All Domains from the Subscription selector located at the top of the control panel screen.

For instructions on performing typical domain management operations, such as deleting a domain, changing the DNS hosting type or adding subdomains, refer to the corresponding sections in the Working with Domains chapter.

When a domain is added in CloudBlue Commerce, the DNS zone is created on the DNS servers managed by CloudBlue Commerce. When the Plesk hosting is added on the domain, this domain is created in the appropriate Plesk instance and the DNS zone is also created on the DNS server managed by the Plesk instance. Then, the DNS servers managed by CloudBlue Commerce synchronize DNS records with the Plesk DNS server. For example, there is the example.com domain with the Plesk hosting. If the subdomain1.example.com subdomain without a DNS hosting is added in the Plesk instance, the appropriate DNS records appear on the DNS servers managed by CloudBlue Commerce.

In other cases, you should manually configure the DNS resolving. For example, there is the example.com domain with the Plesk hosting. If the alias.com Domain Alias or the subdomain2.example.com subdomain with a DNS hosting is added in the Plesk instance, the appropriate DNS zone is not created on the CloudBlue Commerce DNS servers and the DNS zone is created on the Plesk DNS server only. You should manually configure the DNS resolving for the created Domain Alias or subdomain with a DNS hosting.
