Backup Table

Use the table below to help you determine which servers have to be included in your Operations System Backup Plan.

To find out which servers you must back up, perform the following steps:

  1. Select the column representing the hosting modules you have.
  2. Move down and find the ticks standing at the intersection of a column and a row. The ticks show role servers belonging to the respective hosting module and must be backed up.

Now you can easily determine which servers you must back up to protect your hosting module. The table also gives you the information on Backup Frequency and the approximate Backup Time for each role server.

Important: All Operations system management functions are performed on the Operations MN. This component is installed first and the other hosting modules are registered on this server later. Therefore, you must always back up Operations MN components in addition to the hosting modules.

Please pay attention to the hosting module abbreviations used in the table:

  • CBC: CloudBlue Commerce
  • LSH: Linux Shared Hosting
  • HEX: Hosted Exchange
  • Virtuozzo containers L : Virtuozzo containers for Linux
  • Virtuozzo containers W: Virtuozzo containers for Windows
  • CI: Cloud Infrastructure

Columns: hosting modules. Rows: role servers.
