Domain Ownership Change
The domain ownership change is a variant of domain transfer and occurs when a domain is transferred between two accounts of the same registrar.
Rules
In the domain ownership change scenario:
- CloudBlue Commerce automatically cancels the previous owner's domain subscription and creates a new one for the target customer.
- The expiration date of the new subscription remains the same as that of the old one.
- The fee for the domain ownership change operation is the same as the fee for the domain transfer operation (and equals the domain transfer fee from the service plan).
