Leveraging Sales Playbooks
A playbook is a tool that provides product information for you to offer the right solution or service based on your target customers and their needs.
Product Playbooks
Product playbooks help you learn about different cloud services so that you can effectively present, promote and sell to your customers. To access product playbooks, follow these steps:
- On the Go-to-Market Hub homepage, hover over Sales Playbooks in the top menu.
- Click Product Playbooks in the drop-down menu to see product playbook tiles displayed in alphabetical order. Click on any tile to see more about that product playbook.
- To find a specific product, type a search term into the search field, such as a product name. You can narrow your search by selecting a vendor, product or category.
Solution Playbooks
Solution playbooks are preset business and industry solutions that you can present to your customers. To access the solution playbooks, follow these steps:
- On the Go-to-Market Hub homepage, hover over Sales Playbooks in the top menu, then click Solution Playbooks in the drop-down menu.
- Solution playbooks are divided into two categories: business size and industry. Select a tile from one of these categories to see a list of assets.
Sharing Product Playbook Searches
Product playbooks can be shared by generating a link to product playbook search results.
To share a product playbook, follow these steps:
- On the Go-to-Market Hub homepage, hover over Sales Playbooks in the top menu, then click Product Playbooks in the drop-down menu.
- Enter a term in the search field to locate a specific cloud product. Narrow your search by selecting a vendor, product or category. Click Share to generate a direct link.
- Click Copy Link to copy the direct link to your clipboard. You can now share this link to share the same search results.
Note: The recipient of this link must log in to the Cloud Marketplace after clicking on the link to access the search results.
Viewing and Downloading Playbook Assets
To view and download playbook assets, follow these steps:
- On the Go-to-Market Hub homepage and hover over Sales Playbooks in the top menu.

Click Product
Playbooks or Solution Playbooks in the
drop-down menu, depending on which type of playbook you want to access. Then:
- For product playbooks, find the product you want to learn more about and click its tile.
- For solution playbooks, under the business size or industry, click the tile relevant to your search. You will see a list of assets with the option to either download, customize or view the asset.
Customizing a Sales Sheet
You can customize sales sheets with your own title, product description, brand logo and contact information. To access sales sheets, follow steps 1 through a or b above, then:
- Click the pen and paper icon of the sales sheet.
- In the window that opens, click Customize & download.
- You can now edit the header and the long description by clicking Edit in the top right corner of either textbox. We recommend including your company name in the description to increase brand recognition.
- When you finish editing the header or product description, click Save, then click Save & Refresh Preview.
- To update your company logo and contact information for this sales sheet, navigate to the Assets tab.
- Edit the fields to change the company contact information. Click Browse to upload a new company logo. When finished, click Save.
- To download the customized sales sheet, go back to the Content tab and click Download.
