HENAS
The WebHosting Linux module requires at least one Shared Storage for a web cluster. The ultimate requirement for the server to become a Shared Storage is to have NAS solution supporting NFS3 system with support of remote user quotas configuration.
One of the following resources can become a Shared Storage:
NAS storage device
The storage device should comply with the following requirements.
Name |
Parameter |
---|---|
Software |
NAS solution supporting NFS3 with remote user quotas configuration ability. RPM packages must be installed:

Disks |
10 TB of free disk space is recommended for each 20,000 websites. For the smooth work, we recommend that you have the disk with the following characteristics: SAS 10000 RPM drives in RAID10 with Battery Backup Unit (BBU). |

Note: If the device supports some other than RPC rquota management implementation, it can be integrated by the customization of quota controlling scripts.

For physical servers running RHEL/CentOS 6, Ingram Micro provides automatic configuration script for enabling shared storage capability. The configuration script enables options needed for proper cluster functioning, such as support for RPC quota setting and retrieval.
