Registering Domain Registrar Plug-ins Node

To register a node for domain registration, do the following:

  1. In Operations PCP, go to Infrastructure > Service Nodes.
  2. Click Add New Node.
  3. Select the Domain SDK Runtime role.
  4. Specify the IP address or hostname of the node and provide credentials to connect to this node.

    • Host – The IP address or hostname of the node.
    • Login – The root user on the node.
    • Password – The password for the user you specified in the Login field.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Specify the network configuration for this node:

    • Backnet IP address – The BackNet IP address of the node. This IP address will be used for communication with the CloudBlue Commerce management node.
    • Shared IP address – The FrontNet IP address of the node.

Note: If you want to give the node a custom hostname instead of the current one shown in the Hostname field, select the Register node with a custom hostname option and specify a new hostname for this node.

  7. Click Finish to start the registration.

To check the progress, go to Operations > Tasks.

Note: After the node is registered, check that the MaxClients and ServerLimit parameters values are set to 256 in sections IfModule prefork.c and IfModule worker.c of the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file on the node. Set them up in case of absence. Restart the HTTPD service on the node, if the values were set/updated.

  8. Enable the APS placeholders in provider panel system property in the System > Settings > System Properties to make the Domain Registrars menu item visible.
