Configuring Checkout Entry Examples

How can I change entry examples shown next to input fields in checkout?

Solution

Entry examples can be configured using language dictionary.

To configure a tooltip:

1. Go to Products > Online Store > More and click Languages. The list on languages configured appears on the screen.
2. Select a language by clicking on the respective link in the Language ID or in the Language Name column. Selected language properties appear.

3. Proceed to the Dictionary tab. The list of dictionary entries appears on the screen. Checkout entry examples are defined with the following parameters:

   • TOOLTIP_ADDRESS – customer address 1
   • TOOLTIP_ADDRESS2 – customer address 2
   • TOOLTIP_BANKNUMBER – customer bank account
   • TOOLTIP_CITY – customer city
4. Select desired parameter by clicking on the respective link in the Word or in the Translation column. Use search to find the parameter quickly.
5. Click Edit. The editing parameter dialog window is displayed.
6. Type a new parameter value into the Value field.
7. Click Save to confirm changes.
8. Open Products > Online Store and click Connection Setup.
9. Click Synchronize.
