Enabling Validation and Eligibility

You can enable the validation and eligibility functionality to validate and check eligibility of customers placing orders from the Online Store. When this functionality is enabled:

  • Each sales order data including customer details will automatically be checked and validated using the respective fraud screening plug-ins. For more information on how to configure fraud screening refer to Billing Provider's Guide. For information on how to develop fraud screening plug-ins refer to CloudBlue Commerce Fraud Screening Plug-ins SDK Guide.
  • A validation and eligibility section with the Validate button will be displayed on the checkout screen in the online store. This may be helpful when customers want to validate their customer information and check eligibility before placing an order.

To enable the validation and eligibility functionality and display the Validate button on the checkout screen in the online store:

  1. Go to Provider Control Panel > Billing > Products > Online Store. Switch to the More tab. Click Advanced Settings.
  2. Find and click the setting ENABLE_VNE_CHECK. Press Edit. Set the Value field to true or false to enable or disable the functionality, as necessary.
