Enabling the Trust Seal and Seal-in-Search Features

For VeriSign certificates, you can enable the Trust Seal and Seal-in-Search features:

• Trust Seal enables the option to mark your web site with the VeriSign trust signs, which includes displaying the VeriSign brand name and highlighting the address line with green. This feature lets you make your customers confident about the safety of your site.
• Seal-in-Search enables the option to mark the link to your web site with the Symantec seal in online search results. This feature helps your customers see that your site is checked before opening the link to your site.

Note: The Seal-in-Search option can be switched on only if the Trust Seal option is enabled.

Activating the Trust Seal option

1. In the control panel, go to Services > Certificates.
2. Click the necessary VeriSign certificate name. The View Certificate panel opens.
3. Click Enable Trust Seal.

Activating the Seal-in-Search option:

1. In the control panel, go to Services > Certificates.
2. Click the necessary VeriSign certificate name. The View Certificate panel opens.
3. Ensure that the Trust Seal option for the chosen certificate is enabled.
4. Click Enable Seal-in-Search.
