It is possible to create DNS Zones and DNS Records in these zones without physical synchronization with the DNS Server performed by CloudBlue Commerce. Physical synchronization with the DNS servers is performed by the external system. In CloudBlue Commerce, this is called External DNS Hosting.
DNS Zones and DNS Records are stored in the CloudBlue Commerce system database, but CloudBlue Commerce does not physically provision them to DNS servers. The external system takes DNS Zones and DNS Records from the CloudBlue Commerce system database for provisioning on DNS Servers.
