Server Control Panels are web-based multi-user web server management software programs. A Control Panel provides the interface between owners and end users of hosting resources on one side, and computer resources on the other side. Using control panels, the following tasks can be performed:
- Administering web servers
- Creating and managing customer accounts
- Provisioning computer resources for resellers and end-users
- Monitoring resource usage by customers
- Enforcing customer compliance with subscription terms
By logging in to Control Panels, customers can monitor and modify their sites and services within the rights and limits that you assign to them.
Note: In CloudBlue Commerce, the term Control Panel means a designated web-based access point to CloudBlue Commerce user accounts. When users log in to their accounts, they are said to log in to their Control Panels (CP).
