CloudBlue Commerce provides all functionality required for domain subscription sales.
You can provide domain registration in zones (for example, "provider.com") or become a reseller of a registrar.
To start with domain registration sales, the following configuration is needed:
- Add the node for domain registrar plugins. Please refer to the Linux Platform Deployment Guide for detailed instructions.
- Add and configure registrar plugins you want to work with.
- For each registrar, configure domain zones (TLDs) you intend to provide registration in. Services supported (transfer, update name servers and contacts, IDNs registration, domain lock) are configured per domain zone.
- Prepare domain service templates.
- Create service plans based on domain service templates.
Note: Resellers cannot add a node for domain registrar plug-ins or add new plug-ins to the system. They can only create their own configurations of domain registrars that may differ from their provider.
