Important:
1. The upgrade of CBC Service Nodes to version 20.5 must be performed on the installation that has CBC Platform already upgraded to version 20.5.
2. Before the upgrade of CBC Service Nodes, make sure that you have performed the precheck on them, and fixed all configuration errors.
3. CBC Service Nodes can be upgraded directly from one major version (starting from version 7.1) to the necessary version without incremental upgrades to intermediate versions. However, CBC Platform is always upgraded incrementally as described in Step 4. Perform CBC Platform Upgrade.
4. Starting from version 7.4, the Cloud Infrastructure Automation service has a separate release cycle and is upgraded separately by means of the oaci_update.py script. The upgrade procedure is described in the Cloud Infrastructure Automation documentation portal.
5. Service nodes must run version 6.x. or higher of RHEL or CentOS.
If there are no failures found during the pre-check procedure, upgrade CBC Service Nodes:

Launch the upgrade procedure on the Management Node by running the following command:
python update.py --only-service-nodes

The system will perform the upgrade.
Note: The logs are saved to the
/var/log/padirectory. - Wait for the installer to complete the upgrade procedure.
- Log in to Operations PCP and ensure Billing is upgraded successfully by clicking the Billing link to access Billing.
