Managing Service Nodes
You can perform the following operations on Linux- and Windows-based hosting service nodes.

CloudBlue Commerce and the WebHosting Plesk module rely on Plesk for managing the services running on hosting service nodes. To view the components and services running on the node: Go to Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes tab > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > Server Components. Install or update a license for Plesk on a service node. |

Configure IP address banning (Fail2Ban) to protect the web servers against network attacks, only on Linux |
Automatically bans incoming connections from IP addresses and networks that generate malicious traffic directed at the hosting node. It is installed, but switched off by default. To manage the service, go to Provider Panel > Services > WebHosting Plesk > Service Nodes > Tools and Settings (in the Actions column) > IP Address Banning (Fail2Ban). Configure Web Application Firewall (ModSecurity), which provides protection against a wide range of attacks directed at web applications. |
