The CloudBlue Commerce control panel can be integrated with the UI of an external system with the use of the following CloudBlue Commerce function:
- Session management
- Automatic login to the CloudBlue Commerce CP
- Login to the CloudBlue Commerce CP with a shared secret
- Accessing the customer account under vendor permissions
Note: A vendor account is the account of a provider or a reseller.
Session management allows CloudBlue Commerce and an external system to create a shared session. This means a user that is logged in to the external system UI can switch to the CloudBlue Commerce CP without providing credentials.
Automatic login to the CloudBlue Commerce control panel allows hosting providers and resellers to create a custom login form.
Login to the CloudBlue Commerce control panel with a shared secret allows the user to log in from an external system UI to the CloudBlue Commerce CP using a login name and a shared secret.
Accessing a customer account under vendor permissions allows hosting providers and resellers to integrate their own trouble ticketing system with CloudBlue Commerce CP. This allows the vendor's support staff to log in to the CloudBlue Commerce CP as a customer from the trouble ticketing system UI, for example.
