'Costs Only', 'Revenue Only', or 'Revenue and Costs' Rating Mode for Service Plans
To use various features brought by Rating Engine with a service plan, you must:

Set Rating Mode for the service plan to one of the following values:
- Revenue and Costs: Both revenue and costs are calculated for the provider and all reseller levels, as well as the extended price for the customer.
- Costs Only: Only provider costs are calculated for the service. Provider and reseller revenue is not calculated. Extended price for the customer is not calculated.
- Revenue Only: Only provider and reseller revenue is calculated for the service, as well as the extended price for the customer. Provider costs are not calculated.
Important: For each service plan, Rating Mode is set only once and cannot be changed.
Note: After you set Rating Mode, rated revenue
- Option 1: Set Rating Mode for existing service plans and subscriptions to one of the possible values. For instructions, please follow Shifting Existing Service Plans and Subscriptions to Rating Engine.

Option 2: Set the default Rating Mode value that will be applied automatically for all new service plans. This option is convenient for those who want to use the same rating mode for all their service plans. For instructions, please follow Setting the Default Rating Mode for New Service Plans.
