Introduction

Ingram Micro's revenue is recognized in the following ways:

• in CloudBlue Commerce based on the PC1 architecture. CloudBlue Commerce calculates revenue using the TCV value (Total Contract Value) and exports the billing data like revenue, costs, and invoice billable items (BiT). This architecture was implemented in scope of the Prism project.

• in SAP based on the PS1 architecture using the RAR module. Revenue, costs, and BiTs are exported together with the product and subscription data. This architecture was implemented in scope of the FSE project.

To integrate with SAP, CloudBlue Commerce has introduced two new microservices: Export Engine and External AR Management which exports all the required billing data, payments, credit checks and the invoicing procedure. For each of the projects, PRISM and FSE, a different scope of functionality is handled by these microservices.
