To add an allowed upgrade or downgrade for a service plan:
- Open Products > Service Plans. Click the service plan for which you want to add an upgrade or downgrade option.
- Switch to the Upgrades tab. The currently allowed upgrade or downgrade options are listed on the screen.
- Click Add New Allowed Upgrade/Downgrade. Select the service plans to which you want to allow your customers to upgrade or downgrade from the service plan that you chose in the first step. Click Add Selected Plan(s).
Important: Before configuring possible upgrade or downgrade options, check the service gates through which the involved service plans are provisioned. Make sure that if the source service plan is provisioned through PEMGATE, the target service plan is provisioned through PEMGATE. Do not configure allowed upgrades or downgrades of service plans that involve switching provisioning gates. For more information about service gates, please see Creating or Editing Resources.
