Aged Accounts Receivable Report
This report is used to analyze accounts with debts. It displays the following information:
- Document information
- Customer information
The report compares a document date with a reporting date and then distributes documents into respective categories according to a statement cycle of an account. Report is generated based on today's date; only those documents are displayed that are open for the current date.
You can select from the following types of the report:
- Past Due – view a report arranged in aging categories according to a document due date and reporting date.
- Outstanding – view report arranged in aging categories according to a date of document creation and reporting date.
The report has the following structure:
By selecting the corresponding check box (Past Due Accounts Only), you can define whether to include only overdue documents in this report.
Also, you can select creating the report for a single customer only by selecting the desired customer ID.
To view the report arranged in aging categories according to a document due date and reporting date, specify the Report date and click Past Due.
- Report date defines into which aging column a currently open invoice falls within.
A screen that lists documents arranged in ageing categories appears:- Account ID – unique identifiers of customers (owners of documents) with ability to drill down to their account information.
- Account Name – names of customers with ability to drill down to their account information.
- Document ID – an identifier of the document.
- Document # – reference numbers of documents with ability to drill down to their details.
- Document Type – types of documents.
- Current, In Category 01, In Category 02, In Category 03, Over Category 03 – represents ageing categories and show balance of documents distributed into them (if any). If no documents fall in one of these categories, the respective column contains "0.00" entry.
- Balance – balance of documents.
Click the link under Account ID or Account Name to view the information of a particular account. Click the link under Document # to view the particular document.
Functionality and layout of the Outstanding report are almost the same as the Past Due report. The only difference is that the report compares a document creation date (not a due date) with the reporting date.
