Billing Forecast Report

This report is used to analyze subscriptions that will probably be renewed for the next subscription period. This forecast includes recurring billing and renewal of existing subscriptions. It does not estimate new potential sales. It does not take into account discounts applied to a customer class.

You can select from the following report types:

• View Report by Plan – view a report on subscriptions grouped by service plan.
• View Report by Resource – view a report on subscriptions grouped by resource.

By selecting the corresponding check box (Count Auto Renewals Only), you can define whether to include in the report auto-renewing subscriptions only.

By specifying the Renewal Probability value (from 0 to 100%), you can set chances of an existing subscription to be renewed. This probability can be evaluated by analyzing results of previous reports.

View the report on subscriptions grouped by service plan

1. Select a period and click View Report by Plan. A screen will appear, which displays a list of service plans.
   • Category Name – a category name of service plan.
   • Plan Name – a name of service plan.
   • Num. Subscr. – a number of subscriptions for each of service plans.
   • Billing Count – shows how many times a subscription fee will be billed during the reported period.
   • Subscr. Amount – a full amount of subscription fees that will be charged during the reported period. It calculated as follows: Subscription amount = Subscription fee * Billing count.
   • Resource Amount – a full amount of resource fees that will be charged for additional resources usage during the reported period. It calculated as follows: Resource amount = Resource fee * Billing count.
   • Renewal Count – shows how many times subscriptions will be renewed during the reported period.
   • Renewal Amount – a full amount of renewal fees that will be charged for subscriptions renewal during the reported period. It calculated depending on the billing model:
     • In case of a Charge Before Billing Period subscription: Renewal amount = Renewal fee * Renewal count.
     • In case of a Charge Before Subscription Period subscription: Renewal amount = (Subscription fee * Renewal count * Subscription Number Of Periods) + (Renewal fee * Renewal count).
   • Total – a total amount that will be charged during the reported period per service plan. It calculated as follows: Total = Subscription amount + Resource amount + Renewal amount.
2. Click the link under Category Name or Plan Name to access a list of subscription periods.

1. Select a period and click View Report by Resource. A screen will appear, which displays a list of resources.
   • Category Name – a category name of a resource.
   • Resource Name – a name of a resource.
2. Click the link under Category Name or Resource Name to access a list of subscription periods.

Note: The <Undefined> link means a total for fees other than resources (for example, subscription renewal, recurring fee).
