Domain can be transferred with subscription period renewal or without it. Usually, transferring domain without renewal is free of charge. In this case, subscription expiration date remains the same.
To configure a free domain transfer, perform the following:
- Make sure, that the registrar supports free domain transfer.
- Specify in the registrar settings, that free domain transfer is supported. For details, refer to the Associating Domain Zone With Registrar section earlier in this guide.
- Add free subscription period with zero duration to the respective service plan. For details on adding subscription period, refer to the Adding Subscription Period to service Plan section earlier in this guide.
