Customizing Order Flow

To view current order flow, open System > Settings > Order Processing > Order Flow.

Order flow transition defines what actions are to be performed when order gets from one status to another. For each order type a separate set of statuses and transitions is to be configured. To access the details of a particular transition, click on its name.

Description of the fields:

  • From. A starting point (status) of the transition.
  • Success. An ending point of the transition in case flow handler returns true. If the transition has no flow handler, it always ends in success status.
  • Fail. An ending point of the transition in case flow handler returns false.
  • Order Flow Handler is a method that can perform special operations such as fraud screening, submitting credit card for processing, etc.
  • Success Template Name. A notification template to be used for sending message in case the transition succeeds.
  • Fail Template Name field. From the window that opens, select a notification template to be used for sending message in case the transition fails.
  • Action is a transition description, the name of the button displayed on the order page. The button is displayed when order is in the starting status of transition.

Both Provider and Reseller can customize their own order flows. For each order transition point, these fields can be changed:

  • Success Template Name.
  • Fail Template Name.
  • Action.

To customize the order flow, open System > Settings > Order Processing > Order Flow and click on the order type name.
