Note: This feature is applicable only to the situations where provider's or reseller's users create passwords for customers' users in Billing. To disallow manual password creation in Operations, enable the setting Disallow manual password setting in PCP/RCP in Operations Automation as described in the section Disallowing Manual Password Creation in CloudBlue Commerce Operations Provider's Guide.
This feature allows you to hide the fields for manual password entry in the customer user creation (or editing) wizard in PCP and RCP. If you enable the feature, your users and users of your resellers will only be able to generate passwords automatically for customers' users. To disallow manual password creation:
- Log in to Billing as provider. Go to System > Settings and click Security in the System section. Switch to the Login Settings tab. The current configuration settings for login credentials are displayed.
- Click Edit. Enable the setting Disallow manual password setting in PCP/RCP in Business Automation.
- Save the changes. You have successfully enabled the feature.
To allow Billing PCP/RCP users to create passwords manually for CCP users, disable the setting Disallow manual password setting in PCP/RCP in Business Automation in the procedure above.
