Discounting Service Plan Based on Promotion Code

Problem

How can I organize a marketing campaign and attach a discount code to it? Those customers, who provide the code when ordering the promoted services, get a discount. Orders without the discount code are to be billed at regular price.

Note: Promo Code length is up to 2000 symbols.

Solution

To discount a service plan:

1. Create a promotion and enter a promotion code for it. Promotion type has to be Promotion by Promo Code.
2. Add all service plans and their subscription periods that are to be promoted to the Promotion Periods tab.

Note: promotion defines a discounted price rather than discount percent. You need to calculate what is the promotion price based on the target discount percent.
