Managing Domain Subscription
The Domain Info displays the following:
- Original Domain Name. The domain name entered on registration.
- Technical Domain Name. The domain name sent to registrar.
- Domain Status. Current status of a domain:
- Prepared – ordered but not registered yet.
- Registered – registered, full scope of operations available.
- Canceled – domain subscription cancelled.
- In Processing – some operation over a domain is in progress. Most of domain operations are not possible in this status.
- Expired – domain subscription period is over. Renewal is needed.

Registrar Lock. If operations over a domain are locked (Yes) or not (No). Domain locking prevents unauthorized transfers of a domain to another registrar or accidental changes to the domain name. If a domain is unlocked, then to lock it, click Set Registrar Lock. To unlock a domain, click Unset Registrar Lock.
Note: a domain lock/unlock operations are available only if registrar lock is supported by a domain registrar. If this feature is not supported, then all related information and controls are hidden.
- Last Operation Status. How the last operation over a domain has resulted.
- Registration Date. The date the domain has been registered.
Renewing Domain Subscription
A renewal order for a subscription can be placed at any moment during the current subscription period or later, when subscription has expired, but no later than subscription hold period is over.
To renew a domain subscription, click Renew. The subscription periods available are displayed. Select the next subscription period and click Renew to place renewal order. This operation does not change anything in services provided for the current subscription period; the only thing that changes is that the subscription will be pre-paid for some period in advance.
Adding or Canceling Resources
The resource shipped with domain subscriptions is typically the following:
- WHOIS Privacy. Private Registration hides a customer personal information from public view and keeps this information private.
If WHOIS privacy is included in the domain service plan as optional resource and has not been purchased yet, it can be purchased later or , if purchased, it can be disabled for a domain.
To add services for a domain, click Upgrade / Downgrade Resource(s). If additional resources are available, you are offered to place upgrade order if you add services or downgrade order if you cancel services.
Canceling Domain Subscription
Subscription cancellation means stopping services and stopping charges. The cancellation result including refunds and ability of subscription restoration depends on the service terms stated for a service plan. To cancel subscription, click Cancel Domain.
