Sending Subscription Notification
If a notification template is assigned to a service plan subscription period, every time a new subscription to this plan is purchased, the system automatically generate a time-table for notifications. These notifications are automatically sent as scheduled. Notifications, manually added directly to the subscription, are also automatically sent by the system on the configured date. Notifications, attached to events by means of event handlers, are sent automatically when respective events occur. Besides, subscription notifications may also be sent manually.
To send notification messages manually:
- Open the Operations > Subscriptions submenu of the Navigation tree. The list of subscriptions available in the system appears on the screen.
- Select a subscription, which owner you want to notify, by clicking on the respective link in the ID or SubscriptionName column. Selected subscription properties appear on the screen.
- Click Send Notification. The list of available notification templates appears on the screen.
- Mark a notification template to use by selecting respective option in the Notification Templates menu.
- Click Send Notification to send notification based on the selected template.
