For the proper work remote event processing, it is necessary to configure secure communication between the respective external web service and CloudBlue Commerce.
CloudBlue Commerce and remote web services support only secure communication via HTTPS. It means that you must exchange client certificates between Billing and external services.
To do so:
- Log in to PCP. Go to System > Settings > System > Remote Event Receivers. Switch to the Client Certificate of the System tab and copy the Billing client certificate (to the clipboard or to a file).
- Save the certificate to your Remote Event Receiver host web-server to a directory where the Remote Event Receiver can use it to authenticate messages from CloudBlue Commerce.
- Switch on the SSL verification client to authenticate the SSL certificates.
The certificate of the web service host (Remote Event Receiver) will be uploaded to Billing at the Configuring Remote Event Receiver step.
