Synchronizing Domain Expiration Date
In some cases, the domain expiration date stored at the Billing side may differ from the actual expiration date stored at the Registrar side. Such situation may cause problems with domains renewal. To avoid this, enable an automated synchronization of domain expiration date with Registrar and configure the periodic check.
To configure a synchronization of domain expiration date:
- Open System > Settings > Domains > Synchronization and click Edit.
- Select the Enabled check box.
- In the Number of domains to process at a time field, specify how many domains are checked in one run.
- In the Auto-correction interval (days) field, specify the difference between expiration date stored in Billing and at Registrar, that defines whether the expiration date in Billing is corrected or not:
- If the difference in days is equal or shorter than the auto-correction interval, then the expiration date in Billing is fixed according to the date stored at Registrar side.
- If the difference exceeds the auto-correction interval, then the expiration interval in Billing is not changed.
- In the Number of days between checks for a single domain field, specify how often the expiration date is checked per domain.
- Click Save.
