Upgrading and Downgrading Subscription Resource Limits

Resource limits for subscriptions based on service plans that have configured resource rates can be upgraded or downgraded.

Changing additional resources is a way to offer a customer the option of upgrading or downgrading their subscription. When upgrading or downgrading a customer's subscription in such a way, the customer can be offered a selection of resources, and in what amounts they can change these resources.

To upgrade resource limits:

  1. Go to Operations > Subscriptions.
  2. Select a subscription resource limits for which you want to upgrade by clicking on the respective link in the ID or in the Subscription Name column.
  3. Switch to the Resources tab.
  4. Mark resources to be upgraded by selecting respective check boxes.
  5. Click Upgrade Resource Limits. The upgrade resources dialog window is displayed. Fill out the form:
    1. Select the check box(es) for resource(s) to upgrade.
    2. In the Place Order for column, specify an amount of resource(s) to upgrade.

      Note: To downgrade resource(s) specify a negative amount.

    3. Click Next and then Place Order.

    After a change order is processed, the amount of resources in the subscription will be updated.
