Overview

The Azure DNS service is a DNS hosting service supported by CloudBlue Commerce. With this service, users of any system account can:

  • create forward DNS zones in Azure DNS for their domains,

  • manage DNS zone settings,

  • and create and manage A, TXT, CAA, NS, SRV, CNAME, MX, and AAAA DNS records.

Note: In the current version of the service, reverse DNS zones are not supported.

The deployment of the service consists of the following steps:

  1. Prepare an Azure account that meets the requirements in Azure Account Requirements.

  2. Ensure that your CloudBlue Commerce installation meets the requirements in Network Requirements for the Azure DNS Service.

  3. Register the Azure DNS service in the system, as described in Registering the Azure DNS Service in the System.

  4. Create DNS resources for the service.

Note: To learn more about Azure DNS, please refer to its documentation.
