Reseller can sell delegated plans to their customers. When the reseller account is created, delegated plans are copied to it. The reseller can redefine prices for these copies, but cannot modify the structure. The original plans are not affected.
Notification schedules about subscription expiration assigned to a service plan or its periods are also copied to the reseller. Namely, this is the only way to delegate subscription expiration schedules to the reseller.
A service plan to be delegated may have the list of service plans allowed for upgrade or downgrade. To make these relations effective for the reseller, you should delegate all service plans involved. If some of service plans are delegated later (on existing reseller subscription synchronization) the information on possible upgrades or downgrades between the existing reseller service plan and added on synchronization is NOT copied to the reseller.
To delegate a service plan to a reseller:
- Go to Products > Service Plans > Service Templates tab.
- Use search to find the desired template quickly. Select a reseller template by clicking on the respective link in the ID or in the Name column. The selected template properties appear on the screen.
- Switch to the Delegated Plans tab. The list of delegated plans (if any) appears on the screen.
- Click Add New Delegated Plan(s). The adding new delegated plan to service template dialog window is displayed.
- In the Plans section, select a service plan to delegate.
- Click Add Selected Item(s) to finish adding delegated plan to the reseller service template.
