If you changed parameters of the reseller service template for some reason, these changes can be applied to the existing reseller subscriptions. You can change the set of delegated plans, add new subscription periods and resource rates to the existing delegated plans, change prices of the existing delegated plans, change notification schedules, change a set of reseller privileges, and a reseller order flow.
After synchronization, all changes come into effect immediately and they are propagated to resellers subscribed to the reseller plan without regard of their level (excluding the cases when synchronization is performed one level down only; another case is when an "Operating Unit" reseller has some synchronization restriction options enabled).
Note: The information on possible upgrades or downgrades between the existing reseller service plan (delegated earlier) and added on synchronization is NOT copied to the reseller.
Synchronization of resellers can be done in two ways:
- Synchronize a particular reseller.
- Synchronize all resellers who are using a particular reseller plan.
To synchronize a reseller subscription with the reseller service plan:
- Go to Products > Service Plans. The list of service plans available appears on the screen.
- Select the reseller service plan with which you want to synchronize the reseller subscription by clicking on the respective link in the ID or Name column. Properties of the selected service plan appear on the screen.
- If you want to synchronize all subscriptions of the selected service plan, proceed to the step 6. Otherwise, proceed to the step 4.
- Switch to Subscriptions tab. The list of subscriptions appears on the screen.
- Select the subscription that you want to synchronize by clicking on the respective link in the ID or Subscription Name column. Selected subscription properties appear on the screen. Click Synchronize and configure the set of options for synchronization.
- Click Synchronize All Resellers. The synchronizing reseller dialog window is displayed. Configure the synchronization with the set of options and click Synchronize to finish reseller subscription synchronization.
