Changing Language Name of Locale

If necessary, you can customize the name under which the language is displayed to customers on the login screen.

To change the locale's language name, perform the following steps:

  1. In Operations control panel, go to System > Settings > Locales in the Core group and select the locale you want to rename.
  2. On the General tab, click Edit.
  3. Specify the desired language name in the Language name field and click Submit.

You can change the Language name of the locale, but you cannot change its Language code property.
